Come celebrate the season by going around and around on the ice with us. For those of you who might not know, Salon isn’t just for newbies! Anyone can come, and really all we do is talk about Burning Man. You know, what we did last year, what we want to do next year. And then if anyone has questions I’ll try to answer them, and we talk about plans for projects and that sort of thing. So don’t be shy, Salon is for you too. So come play with us.

The online form to submit a Letter of Intent is now open! The deadline to submit an LOI is Friday, December 19 at 12:00pm noon, Pacific Standard Time. Late LOIs will not be accepted. The Grant Committee aims to inform artists if they are invited to participate in the full grant application process in early January 2015.

Salon will be at the Snoopy Ice Rink this month. I love me some ice skating, so you are just going to have to risk your ankles and get out on the ice. Or stay in the cafe and drink hot chocaolate and laugh at me through the window. I really don’t care! I’ll be having fun no matter what. And that my friends is the reason for the season. So come share!
And I know I said Salon’s not for newbies anymore, well really we only have one of those a year but someone said that people think it’s only for n00bs. Did I mention that mostly it’s crusty, dusty dorks discussifying TTITD? Well usually it is, just us chickens. Bok! so don’t feel shy. Everyone is welcome!
