Hello North Bay Burners!

Anyone up for an art tour? At Barry’s suggestion I have arranged for a tour of the DiRosa Preserve on Sunday, June 5th at 10am. It is a guided tour of the Sculpture Meadow, Courtyard, and North Lawn/Garden and if you want to go you can reserve your spot for $15 each. It’s a really cool local art experience, I know you will like. for more information.

I’ve set us up for seven people, if you want to be one of them I’ll need your funds by Father’s Day. You can reply here and let me know, or paypal me and I’ll handle the rest. There is plenty of room for more, I made up that number : D we can bring more or less, I just need to let them know how many a week beforehand to confirm. And it has to be paid in advance. So if you want to do it don’t delay!

Lots of stuff going on already, see below for info on Precom in SF, an arts preview in the East Bay, and a dance party in Marin! Temple Build is having its first meeting, and we have our monthly gig at the mission helping out on the last Thursday of the month.

burn bright,

xoxo RLL

Playa Arts Sneak Peek

Curious about what art projects are coming to Burning Man? For May we’ll have 10 artists present their planned works, while on the big screen behind them slides and movies of their art will appear. There will be a variety of projects, both colossus and small, each so mind blowing that you’ll want to participate in their creation…which you can! All art pieces presented will offer opportunities for you to get involved.

From the mystery of the The Last Apothecary to the HUMONGOUS Catacomb of Veils, this will be an evening of awe and inspiration!

In addition to a record executive, Gavin Hardkiss is a DJ focusing on modern dance music including the tribal- and funk-influenced sounds of house, trance, breaks, and techno.

A Fairfax local, Adam has been DJing for 20+ years in the DC and SF Bay Areas, sharing the stage with performers like Miguel Migs, Mix Master Morris, DJ Alex Patterson, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Alton Miller, Fort Knox Five and many more. This event is free for everyone who dances.
