Steering and Planning meeting for a Pre- and/or De-compression style street Faire event in the North Bay! Why should Oakland and SF be the only options? Many in the active BM art community live up here in Sonoma County, so let’s bring the burn regionally and represent!
Expect to bring your ideas and brilliance, as well as your energy and can-do spirit, and help shape the 5 W’s for this future event. We’ll need idea people, planners, organizers, fundraisers, writers , graphic designers, presenters, advocates and, well, especially North Bay Burners!
I will update the FB post with agenda and guidance for discussion soon. Just wanted to get the notice out immediately. Hope you can make it!
(Arrive early as parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED. Recommend you park down the hill at Webster and English or in and around Petaluma High School.)

North Bay Burners Campout

Bring the spirit and imagination of Black Rock City to the Bay and help create: “Black Top City” — an urban version of Burning Man in the historic Pier 70 buildings and surrounding lots. Our community will create a microcosm of BRC – blocks, camps, inner- and deep-playa filled with art and performance – in a black-top setting at this brand new location. We’ll have extra setup and strike time, so together we are going to be able to take the art and theme camp participation to the next level! We want to hear from participants ASAP to make this the best Decompression ever!!!
