May 11, 2012 :: “The Spirit of the Man” is an exciting new sculpture exhibition at Paradise Ridge Winery. Opening on May 11th, the yearlong show features 34 major works by sculptors based locally and throughout the United States. The show is centered on 3 genres: modern abstract, contemporary post modern, and work created for Black Rock City and includes many new pieces being created specifically for this event. David Best is building a 35’ temple. Orion Fredericks, 3 pieces including “Tapasya”, the giant gear that was part of the entrance to Center Camp last year. Michael Christian’s “Celestial Body”, Laura Kimpton/Jeff Schomberg’s “LOVE”, Bryan Tedtrick’s new piece “Stetson” and Rebecca Nase’s steel and stone piece.

May 19, 2012 :: Saturday May 19th The Carpetbag Brigade and Teatro Taller de Colombia will perform at the San Franciscio International Arts Festival in association with the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. The Carpetbag Brigade will be presenting “Callings” for the first time in San Francisco and Teatro Taller de Colombia will be presenting the North American premiere of their touring production “Exodo”, which was directed by Stalker Theatre’s David Clarkson. http://carpetbagbrigade.
