The United Flyers of Sonoma will be out there having a work party at the Taylor Mountain course that day. If you’re so inclined you can stay and help them do some work on the course.

Come meet some local Burners, huck a disc and go for a hike. We are meeting in the parking lot at noon up at Taylor Mountain in Santa Rosa for a disc golf outing on Saturday, February 18th. Come learn how to play, or share your skillz. We will have a Pro Master, a Pro Grandmaster, and other surprise guests from the PDGA circuit on hand to show you how to putt and drive like the cool kids.

Got discs? Bring em! I’m going to see if I can get someone out there with some discs to sell, but we will have some for you to borrow too. It’s going to be a fun day hiking around. Come play, bring friends, see you there.

Kids are fine to bring but you’re probably going to want to leave the dog at home. They tend to chase after the discs and blow the golf clap vibe. There is a fee to park at the Taylor Mountain Regional Park where the disc golf course is located, it’s $7 per vehicle unless you have a Regional Parks pass. But the fresh air and expert advice is free!
