Hello all you lovers and fools,
This month we ask you for plates! The mission loses and breaks some, they do tend to grow legs and walk off, and so more plates are good. Got plates? Bring ’em. Find some at a thrift store? That’s good too. Dinner sized, not cracked or chipped, pattern doesn’t matter. They don’t need to match. See below for more on that.
Also we need to get a team together for the bowling thingy of we are going to pull this off. If each team member can commit to raising $150 or so we’d be all good. Who wants to play? Let me know soon. So we can get this bowling ball rolling.
The Man Base is looking for makers to host a guild workshop for the burn. If you have a group that would like to be considered for booth space this year check out the info, proposals due March 1st.

Spread the Love Potion: upcoming fundraiser and event
Love Potion Camp needs your help to bring the Amphora art car back to the playa! Since 2012, our giant glowing bottle has been bringing smiles to Burner faces, but in 2016, the bus broke down on the way back from Burning Man and is resting in a shop in the Sierra foothills until she can get a new engine. Burning Man 2016 Guild Workshop RFP Information Posted
Are you a local maker space looking for a way to participate at the burn? Represent your region and your guild! Be a part of the art, make the Man base come alive.
First it was CORE, then the Souk and Midway…and now there’s a new game in town: Guild workshops for the “Italian High Renaissance” Piazza!

This month we have something new – we are taking up a plate collection. Dinner plates to be specific, if you have some you’d like to donate let us know The mission could use some more. They do not have to match, but should be whole (not chipped or cracked).
