We’ve got Salon coming up on the 14th, so come hang out around the fire pit with us. People are asking for some show and tell, so we are going to start suggesting you bring your way of doing things and show us, or tell us how and why. How do you do gray water evap? What’s your LNT plan for your camp? Do you have a special way of securing your shade structure out there? And what do you do for personal preparation? These are the things we want to know.
This month we ask you to think about the one thing you would not go out to Black Rock City without. Like if you forgot it you’d stop in Reno and get one. Or go back out to the store in Gerlach because you just can’t live through a week in the desert if you don’t have your (fill in the blank here) with you when you get home.

We’re calling for all kinds of cleverness: interactive art installations, theme camps, performers, bands, djs, and things that defy geometry and categorization. Come prepared to participate in a grand Funhouse of Imagination!
